Last night Mommy and Daddy took me to get my pictures taken again. I am getting so big they kept saying. I have been going ot the same place for so long now everyone knows me. Julie is the one that always takes my pictures. She is really nice and takes great pictures Mom says.

Last night Mommy took me for my official first haircut. I look so grown up now. Mommy almost cried becasue she said her baby was a little man now. I look good if I say so myself. We went to see Kiley in Columbia to cut my hair. She was really nice and didn't cut my ear or anything. She even gave me a certificate when we were done that had my hair trimmings and said that I was a good boy.

Mommy took me to the doctors yesterday. We were just going for my 18 month well-vist, but it ended up that I have an ear infection too in one ear. The doctor gave me some medicine and told me to take it with my claritin everyday for at least 10 days. I have to go back to the doctor in two weeks. While at the doctors I got my weight and height checked. I am 36 inches tall and 32 pounds. I am over the 100% for height and 93% for weight.

I had a great weekend with my Mommy & Daddy. Friday we went to the ballpark so Daddy could play softball. I got the play on the jungle gym and run around the park.

We played a bunch on Saturday too while Mommy & my mawmaw Johnston had a yard sale. My pawpaw Johnston also got me a new ride on toy that he can push. Daddy was doing wheelie with me on it and I was laughing so hard. After I took my nap we went to a graduation party for the Todd girls and went out to dinner with mawmaw and pawpaw Johnston.

Sunday Momy & Daddy went to the Cardinals game, but they brought me back a cool cardinals ball that lights up. We played in the afternoon.

Well yesterday I had to go get my iron checked as well as go to the Health Depatment with Mommy. My iron levels were really good and I weighed in at 32 lbs 13 ozs and 34.5 inches long. Mommy had to hold me real close and talk to me while they took my blood...I WAS NOT A HAPPY BOY. Being in Mommy's arms made it better though. I have to go see Dr. Laff next week.

Well, my 18 month birthday went well. Mommy and Daddy got me a baseball book, mega doodle, and a "LITTLE DUDE" tshirt and let me wear it out to eat last night. Of course I got ketchup all over it. We went to Tequilia and I had chicken nuggets and french fries. Mommy also shared her cheese dip with me and Daddy gave me some of his salsa. It was really good! Afterwards we played outside a bit and then I went to bed. Not the most exciting evening, but I love being with my Mommy and Daddy so it was nice!

18 months old...

Mommy was all sad this morning saying her little man is growing up. She was saying that 18 months ago she was in the hospital getting ready to deliver me. 18 months ago the world was blessed with my presence. I was big coming into this world at 10 lbs 3 ozs, but Mommy thinks I am at least 33 lbs now. WOW! I go to the doctors in a couple weeks so we'll see then.

Tonight Mommy and Daddy said they'd take me to Happy Days (a local ice cream shop) and get me my own milk shake. Mommy usually gets one and shares with me, but now that I am a big boy I get my own. I am so excited. I'll let you know how it goes.

I had a great weekend with Mommy and Daddy. Saturday morning MOmmy and I went with Grandma and Grandpa Johnston to some yard sales. Mommy bought me a herbie car. I love playing in it. It ven has keys that beep when you puch the button. I got to see my Grandma and Grandpa Orr in the afternoon. They were at a graducation party we went to for Matt Harmon. That is Grandma and Grandpas godson. I really miss them when we are apart. My Aunt Casey was there too. She loves me a lot and was always trying to hold me. I'm a bust dude tough and I gotta check out the place so I didn't want her to hold me much. I did give her kisses though.

On Sunday I played outside a bunch at home and at my Johnston grandparents. I love when Mommy and Daddy are home with me and we play a lot.

Mommy was so worried last night when she finally removed the baby bumpers from my crib. I'm a big boy now so she is going to see how i do without them. Of course I lost my pacifier overnight with it falling out, but I still slept through the night and didn't get my arms/legs stuck in the slats of my bed.

I think I made Mommy's morning today too. I woke up so happy. I was laughing and giggling . I called for Mommy and Daddy. Mommy came in to play with me since Daddy had already left for work. I wasn't quite ready to get out of my crib so she let me play in it while she finished getting ready. She wanted me to get out and run around, but I wanted to play with my sound machine. It's still fun to play with even though I am a big boy. Then when I finally was ready to get out and she changed my clothes we went to Grandma Kims. When we got to Grandmas I didn't want to get out of my carseat. It was the first time I ever tried to put my seatbelt back on. I wanted to stay with Mommy. She promised to come right home after work and play with me all weekend. She's a good Mommy to play with. I really miss my Mommy when she's at work!!

Well Mommy has been slacking for almost a year now. I will be 18 months old next week and this is only like the 4th time we've posted. She is going to be better about it she promises.

Well, on to what's up with me aka Kaleb....SUMMERS HERE! Since it is summer time my Grandma Kim is watching me every weekday while Mommy and Daddy work. She is a lot of fun, but she makes me listen which isn't always good. We have been playing outside a lot and she even has a sandbox for me. At night Mommy, Daddy, and I play outside or go to the ballpark so Daddy can play softball. I wish Mommy and Daddy were home with me more, but Mommy explains that they have to work so we can have money to do lots of fun stuff. I believe her so I just enjoy the evenings and weekends with them.
